Compass CBS Foundation is proud to announce Ryan Duty as the very first recipient of our Community Connector award. This new honor recognizes exceptional individuals who demonstrate unparalleled excellence in grassroots efforts to support small business success—a standard Ryan exemplifies every day.

Ryan has made it his personal mission to see small businesses thrive, bringing a rare blend of firsthand entrepreneurial grit and high-level strategic expertise to the table. Having built, operated, and successfully sold his own business, he intimately understands the unique challenges and opportunities of the solopreneur journey. He combines this authentic, real-world ownership experience with over 15 years in corporate strategy to help entrepreneurs grow and scale.

Currently leading the National Small Business Strategy for Community Banking at JPMorgan Chase, Ryan develops and executes initiatives that elevate business owners across the country. His community-driven approach is anchored in three powerful principles:

Engaging entrepreneurs through meaningful connections and local partnerships.

Educating business owners with actionable knowledge and strategic insights.

Empowering communities with the crucial resources needed to succeed.
