Compass CBS Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit building a diverse, inclusive, and sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystem in Arizona, because we believe everyone has the right to economic well-being.
Our Journey: Milestones and Achievements
Founded in 2011 by Arizona-raised Latinx entrepreneurs, Compass CBS has spent over a decade launching businesses, training thousands of entrepreneurs, and advocating for equitable economic access across Arizona. In 2018 we formalized as a nonprofit to expand that work statewide.

Dr. Tanya Ospitale
Board Member - President
Dr. Tanya Ospitale is a Co-Founder of Compass CBS and a passionate advocate for community empowerment and economic opportunity. With a background in adult education and program development, she brings years of experience building networks that support women, youth, and underrepresented entrepreneurs across the Phoenix metro area.
Paul A. Taliercio
Board Member - Treasurer
Paul Taliercio is a public historian, exhibit designer, and founder of the Sapien Museum of Anthropology and Natural History. A founding member of Compass CBS Foundation since 2011, he serves on the board of Arizona Humanities and has designed major historical exhibits across Arizona.
Jennifer Olivo
Board Member - Secretary
Jennifer Olivo is an entrepreneur and sustainability advocate dedicated to creating opportunities for women and minorities in business. As a Compass CBS board member, she has led social media outreach for the Going Green Going Smart program, promoting eco-friendly strategies for small businesses across Arizona.
