Our Journey: Milestones and Achievements
Founded in 2011 by Arizona-raised entrepreneurs, Compass CBS has spent over a decade launching businesses, training thousands of entrepreneurs, and advocating for equitable economic access across Arizona. In 2018 we formalized as a nonprofit to expand that work statewide.

Dr. Tanya Ospitale
Board Member - President
Dr. Tanya Ospitale is a Co-Founder of Compass CBS Foundation and a passionate advocate for community empowerment, education, and economic opportunity. With a background in adult education and program development, she has dedicated her career to building supportive networks that empower women, youth, and underrepresented entrepreneurs. Through mentorship, workshops, and community partnerships, Dr. Ospitale has helped create programs focused on leadership development, technology training, financial literacy, professional growth, and workforce readiness. Her work is driven by a commitment to creating inclusive opportunities that help individuals and communities thrive.
Paul A. Taliercio
Board Member - Treasurer
Paul Taliercio is a public historian, exhibit designer, and cofounder of Compass CBS Foundation. His work includes supporting entrepreneurs through small business development and startup resources, as well as contributing to grant writing, website development, and community engagement initiatives. He has designed major historical exhibits across Arizona and currently serves on the board of Arizona Humanities.
Jennifer Olivo
Board Member - Secretary
Jennifer Olivo is an entrepreneur and sustainability advocate dedicated to creating opportunities for women and minorities in business. As a Compass CBS board member, she has led social media outreach for the Going Green Going Smart program, promoting eco-friendly strategies for small businesses across Arizona.
