Dr. Tanya Ospitale

Dr. Tanya Ospitale is a dedicated entrepreneur, Founder of the Women’s Innovation Network (W.I.N.), and co-founder of the Compass CBS Foundation. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business communications, a master’s degree in education, and a graduate certificate in human resource management. Dr. Ospitale completed her doctorate degree with an emphasis on self-efficacy and digital learning methodologies in remote and blended workspaces. Her extensive educational background equips her with a deep understanding of the intersection between education, business, culture and technology.
Dr. Ospitale’s commitment to empowering individuals through education and business readiness programs stems from her own experiences as a single mother and the challenges she overcame. With a strong background in business administration and her expertise in adult education, design, and technology, Dr. Ospitale has worked on diverse projects, both nationally and internationally.
In addition to her dedication to adult education, Dr. Ospitale actively supports local youth financial education initiatives, recognizing the importance of equipping young individuals with the necessary tools for financial literacy and success.
Furthermore, Dr. Ospitale’s roots in Latin and Caribbean heritage, as the daughter of two immigrants from Nicaragua and Trinidad, provide her with a unique perspective and a deep understanding of the diverse perspectives of the community the Compass CBS Foundation serves. This rich cultural background adds texture to her ability to connect with individuals from different walks of life, ensuring that the foundation’s programs and initiatives are inclusive and impactful for the entrepreneurial communities we serve.
Under Dr. Ospitale’s leadership, the Compass CBS Foundation will continue to strengthen its existing partnerships and expand its reach within the community. The foundation’s flagship programs, such as StartUp PHX in collaboration with the City of Phoenix Public Library, the Going Green and Going Smart Program with Arizona Public Service, and entrepreneurship program in patnership with the Consulate General of Mexico in Phoenix, Arizona, will benefit from Dr. Ospitale’s expertise and strategic vision.
