Consular Entrepreneurship Program for Mexican Women

The Consular Entrepreneurship Program for Mexican Women, known as Mexicana Emprende, is an initiative of the Consulate General of Mexico that equips women entrepreneurs of Mexican origin with the training, mentorship, and resources they need to launch and grow successful businesses.
Compass CBS Foundation serves as the nonprofit partner for this program, supporting its delivery, connecting participants to resources, and ensuring funds raised go directly toward empowering women entrepreneurs and expanding economic opportunity in their communities.
With more than 3,000 graduates worldwide, including 175 in Phoenix, and over 1,146 businesses strengthened, this program is creating lasting economic impact across communities.
What Participants Receive
Business Education
Participants complete the DreamBuilder program — a comprehensive bilingual business training curriculum designed to build practical entrepreneurial skills.
Expert Mentorship
Virtual conferences with entrepreneurs, business coaches, and industry experts covering key topics in business development and financial growth.
Community & Resources
Access to a curated list of small business resources, a supportive peer network, and ongoing mentoring to help women move their businesses forward.
Recognition
Participants celebrate their accomplishments with a graduation ceremony upon completing the program.
