Natalia has worked for many years building programs that empower the Hispanic entrepreneur ecosystems across our state. She is a dedicated professional who puts her heart and mind into her work. As a business educator, Natalia continues to make her mark on countless small business owners who now have the skills to thrive in the 21st century, and her work helps low-income families rise from economic and cultural barriers.
As the pandemic crisis devastated countless small business, Natalia worked tirelessly with Chicanos Por La Causa to help small business owners access CARES Act relief funds. She goes above and beyond for her business partners, searching for grants and fundraising for her philanthropic efforts to help invest back in the small business community.
Natalia has led important economic development projects such as lead instructor for Compass CBS, a bilingual business education center; as business instructor for the Fuerza Local Business Accelerator, a Local First Arizona program; and speaker for numerous events such as the Bilingual Business Conference of Arizona and Hablemos de Negocios on Univision Arizona.
Notably, she was recognized for her efforts as one of 2014’s 40 Hispanic Leaders Under 40, in 2015 with the Sparxx Fly: Pillar of Strength Award, and in 2020 as an ATHENA Award nominee. She is also a graduate of the Valley Leadership program, which has served as Arizona’s premier leadership development organization, and is proud to be a member of Class 40. Natalia holds a master’s in business administration from Arizona State University and a undergraduate degree in communication and culture from Clark University.
