Economic Development Advocacy

We advocate for programs and policies at the federal, state, and local levels that promote economic inclusion, increase Latino political participation, and open pathways to intergenerational wealth-building for Arizona communities.

Certified Small Business Consultant Program (CSBS)

A professional certification program that trains coaches, consultants, and advisors to more effectively support small business owners. Through interactive sessions on coaching fundamentals, financial literacy, and entrepreneurial resources, participants earn a recognized certification upon completion — with a 95% completion rate and proven impact on their work.

Going Green and Going Smart

A statewide initiative in partnership with APS, this free workshop program helps small business owners discover energy efficiency strategies, sustainability practices, and cost-saving tools to strengthen their bottom line and build a greener future.

The Doc's Program

A free nine-month initiative designed specifically for senior entrepreneurs, providing monthly business workshops on digital marketing, business structure, financial literacy, and funding, held at community locations across the Valley. Made possible through corporate and private support, participants celebrate their journey with a graduation ceremony upon completion.

Morning Energizers

A bilingual bi-weekly mastermind meetup designed for entrepreneurs and small business owners looking to energize their business strategy. Facilitated by certified business coaches in both English and Spanish, sessions include peer idea-sharing, local resource exploration, guest speakers, and networking, creating a supportive community for business owners at any stage.

A community-based educational initiative using exhibitions, oral history, and public humanities programs to foster shared understanding and civic connection. Because lasting economic resilience requires more than opportunity, it requires cultural trust and social cohesion as its foundation.

Business Roadmap Program

Developed in partnership with the City of Phoenix Burton Barr Library, this free program guides entrepreneurs through the essential steps of starting a business in Arizona, from writing a business plan to accessing capital. Nearly 3,000 participants trained in its first year.
